The Sassy Cow – 135 S. Main Street
Started by Lain and Lynn, these two local moms had a desire to bring their love of Farmhouse style to the masses. The once mobile business is now a brick and mortar store located at 135 S. Main Street. They offer their customers a chance to make their own DIY Farmhouse home décor projects. Open workshop hours are Tuesday & Thursday from 10:00am – 2:30pm, Wednesday by appointment only, and classes are held Saturday afternoon and evenings (must reserve spot). Private adult and kids parties can be booked for open weekends when available.
Oaklyn Springs Brewery – 2912 North Main Street
For the past 2 months, Oaklyn Brewery has been operating under a “soft opening” and serving beers made in their small brewing system as well as reselling other quality craft beer products, cider, wine and soda beverages. They open to the public Wednesday-Sunday. Oaklyn Brewery focuses on high quality craft beer made for the community in which they live.
LIN Hibachi Buffet – 1420 E Broad Street
LIN Hibachi Buffet is now open and has taken over the old Golden Corral building in Sexton Place. This locally owned and operated buffet-style restaurant serves Asian fusion (including sushi and hibachi), American favorites, and seafood. They are open 7 days a week and welcome both walk-ins and take-out orders.
Panera Bread- 1330 North Main Street
A plan has been submitted to the town for a new Panera Bread. It will be located at 1330 North Main Street in Sunset Plaza. The proposed building is 4,584 square feet.
RC Hobby – 507 Broad Street
A new store has opened in the former location of ToyTown Hobby Store. The owners are local Fuquay-Varina residents that are no strangers to the radio-controlled hobby world. The husband and wife team operated a business in the same location from 2005-2011 when they sold the business. The owner of the business from 2011-2018 closed up shop, and they seized the opportunity to get back in the business and serve the RC enthusiasts in Fuquay-Varina and the surrounding areas. The store sells radio-controlled cars, boats, planes and helicopters. They also have an on-site repair facility.
One Stop Market – 101 Dickens Road
The One Stop Market of Fuquay is much more than your traditional convenience store. It is a locally owned and operated Italian market place located at 101 Dickens Rd. The location, formally a Citgo convenience store, has taken on a new look and feel when you walk in. They offer many Italian specialties such as lasagna, calzones, and even homemade mozzarella! The market is open 7 days a week.
