Cultivate Coffee Roasters
Now open in historic downtown Fuquay at 128 S. Fuquay Avenue is Cultivate Coffee Roasters. This shop roasts their own coffee in-house and they are committed to bringing you the freshest coffee available. The shop offers a variety of hot and cold brews along with fresh pour-over coffee. Baked goods such as scones, cupcakes and cookies are provided daily from Bestow Baked Goods. Save some room and try their newly added homemade grass-fed ice cream in many unique flavors. Planet Fitness
Planet Fitness is now open at 1300 N. Main Street in the old Rose’s building. Planet Fitness offers a “judgment-free zone” complete with cardio equipment, weight training, tanning booths and fitness training. They have three levels of memberships ranging from $10-19 dollars a month. They are open 24 hours 7 days a week to accommodate all schedules.
Tsuru Sweets & Coffee
If you are in the mood for a sweet treat, head on over to Tsuru Sweets and Coffee located at 411 Broad Street in the old Hook & Clever location. Paola Demaayer is sharing her love of baking by offering daily, fresh baked goods such as macarons, eclairs, muffins, tarts, croissants, bread and even homemade chocolates. If coffee is what you crave, they have a vast menu which boasts specialty coffees, teas, hot chocolate as well as cold brews. You can also place orders for specialty birthday cakes, wedding cakes and dessert buffets for special occasions. Stop in Monday-Saturday 8-6 and Sunday 10-5.
Vicious Fishes Taproom & Kitchen
Opened December 12, 2018, at 132 S. Fuquay Avenue, this is the second Vicious Fishes Brewery in our area. They offer a variety of their own brews along with snack plates, small plates, larger platters for sharing and kids items. Menus include oysters, fired pimento cheese, Korean BBQ beef skewers, flatbreads, salads, and specials depending on what fresh local ingredients are available. If brews are not for you, they do have non-alcoholic options, specialty cocktails and a wine menu. Open Wednesday/Thursday 11am-10pm, Friday and Saturday 11am-11pm and Sunday 11am-8pm. Harris Teeter
The former Kroger at 1371 E. Broad Street at Fuquay Crossing Shopping Center will be reopening as Harris Teeter. The 50,082 square-foot store is already under construction.
