The Brick
213 Fayetteville Street
The Brick is back! Like a Hollywood actor, sometimes you have to get some work done as you age. This Fuquay-Varina icon has undergone some major renovations on the inside. Without going into detail, you’ll be able to see when you stop in. More great news is that many of the faces that you’re familiar with will be back. You’ll recognize the barkeeps, the DJ, and most of the other staff. The Brick’s weekly traditions will also be on tap, as well as the beers and cocktails you love. The slated grand opening is June 23. The owners are the same as Abbey Road in Fuquay-Varina, as they decided to come in and keep The Brick as a staple in Fuquay-Varina. Go by and see what they’ve done with the place! Stay up to date from their Facebook page at The Brick Fuquay.
Right Meow Cat Café – Coming Soon
913 S. Main Street
A purrrfect addition to Fuquay-Varina’s café scene is under construction at 913 S. Main Street. Not your ordinary drop-in-for-coffee-or-tea place, Right Meow Cat Café has plans for a party room, gift shop, a drinks-and-treats menu, and of course, cats! The owners are partnering with Facilitate Rescue, so the cats roaming Right Meow will be vetted, cared for and on the prowl for their furever humans, if you happen to be searching for a feline friend. If you’re not in the market to adopt or foster, you’ll still be helping the cats by stopping and simply socializing with them and showering them with affection. Follow Right Meow’s progress at www.rightmeowcatcafe.com and on Facebook.

Located at 400 West Ransom Street, The Hope Center will provide 24/7/365 assessment, stabilization, and treatment when a child is in crisis. The BHUC will serve kids ages 4 to 17 years old. The center’s 16-bed secure Facility-Based Crisis program will provide immediate therapeutic care for children ages 6 to 17.
