Bring a lawn chair (but leave pets and coolers at home) and prepare to sing and dance along to the familiar tunes of these legendary soul-music masters who never fail to delight their audience.

Downtown will be the one and only place to be on Saturday, October 2, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., for the Celebrate Fuquay-Varina Festival! Shop or admire the work of local artisans at the Artist Village. Tour our town’s historic sites and museums. Entertain your little ones with the Kid Zone, and your not-so-little ones with the rock wall. Participate in the Chili Cook-off by sampling a few and voting for your favorite. Stop by one (or more!) of a number of food trucks. Enjoy live music and entertainment. Bring your family, friends, and neighbors and stay all day. Make it ‘a dash more’ fun and make new friends along the way.

Saturday, October 16, 7:00 p.m.—9:00 p.m. (Full Fright)
Don’t look now, but the spookiest night of the year is almost here, and on Saturday, October 16, the Haunted Trail will be expecting you! For our families with young or easily frightened ghosts and goblins, the Family Trail is a playful daytime walk from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Visitors are encouraged to come in costume and should expect some interaction with the fun characters they meet along the trail.
From 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., the Full Fright Trail is open for those brave enough to walk through the woods in darkness. Visitors can begin to line up at 6:00 p.m. and should expect a bone-chilling experience full of heart-pounding surprises. Full Fright is not recommended for children under the age of 10, and children between the ages of 10-12 should be accompanied by an adult.
The Haunted Trail is a free event located at Carroll Howard Johnson Park. Attendees can park at the Fuquay-Varina Community Center (820 S. Main Street) and take a shuttle bus to Carroll Howard Johnson Park. Shuttles run from 4:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Visitors may also park at the Community Center and walk the Jeff Wells Trail to Carroll Howard Johnson Park. If the Jeff Wells Trail is the route you choose, we recommend bringing a flashlight. https://www.fuquay-varina.org/714/Halloween-Trail
