Fresh. Local Ice Cream—Coming Soon
202 S. Main Street
This second-generation family business, owned by locals Jason and Casey Hillman, has expanded from Raleigh to Apex, Cary, and Holly Springs. Now, they’re hoping to find a fifth home in downtown Fuquay-Varina! We learned that the Hillmans have purchased the old Elliotts Pharmacy building on the corner of S. Main Street and Depot Street. Elliotts Pharmacy was in business for 99 years, before shuttering in 2013 due to increased operating costs and declining sales.

Original Strength Institute—New Location Now Open
212 S. Main Street
OSI is not new to the area, but they have moved to a new location. The building that was formerly Shoppes on Main, is now OSI. Through small-group training, private personal training, and online training, they meet clients where they are and encourage everyone to do what they can. Instead of workouts on treadmills, ellipticals, and stationary bikes, clients put their own bodies to work using ropes, tires, medicine balls, kettleballs, free weights, and suspension systems.
