Rock Solid Warrior
Hoping to be open in July, this new facility is located in the Fuquay Sports Center at 6109 NC-55 in Fuquay-Varina. The center is family friendly for ninja warrior and rock climbing training, exploration, and competition for everyone from beginners to pros, 5 to 75. They have done their homework, and have brought in experts to design the obstacles and ensure the safety of all participants. The facility will be cutting edge, with the ability to rework and redesign the obstacles regularly. They have a variety of coaches, including Fuquay-Varina’s own Devin “Dougie Fresh” Harrelson. Piedmont Pottery
Peidmont Pottery had their grand opening on June 8 at 322 S Main St in Fuquay-Varina. Potters Jeff and Lisa Ross’s works reflect both traditional North Carolina and classical styles that are influenced by nature, Celtic mythology and Asian minimalism. Most of their unique pottery for the home and garden is made using locally sourced stoneware clays and oxidation fired. They also craft in porcelain, and create Raku and salt-fired pieces. They also offer jewelry, hand-made ceramic beads and pendants in styles ranging from formal to whimsical to fit your unique personality. WakeMed Urgent Care
On May 18, WakeMed opened their urgent care facility at 231 N. Judd Parkway in Fuquay-Varina near the post office. They are open daily from 8am to 8pm. They privide services for illnesses and injuries that require immediate attention. The facility team consists of physicians, physician assistants and nurse practitioners.

Bull & Bear Gym
BBG is a facility designed for those who want to struggle. The facility is dedicated to the breakdown and repair of the physical body and the spiritual self.
BBG members enjoy a gym intended for serious athletes. BBG additionally offers restorative services including sessions in a state of the art sensory deprivation “float tank,“ hot yoga, sauna, body fat testing scanning, and chiropractic/massage services on-site, available on an a la carte basis to non-members.
