You’ve probably heard the news…Target is coming to Fuquay-Varina! Scheduled for construction next year for a 2026 opening, the store will have a total of 148,000 square feet and be situated on 11.5 acres of land in the new Gold Leaf Crossing Shopping Center.
Lollipops Children’s Boutique—Now open
504 Broad Street
Located in Varina Station in Downtown Varina, this boutique features classic, timeless clothing for baby and child, from preemie through size 10. Restored Mission Shoppe—Coming soon

Restored Mission Shoppe is an upscale nonprofit coffee shop and gift boutique affiliated with Hand of Hope Pregnancy Resource Center in Fuquay-Varina. The mission of the coffee shop is to be a refuge and employment option for pregnant women (victims of trafficking, intimate partner violence, etc.) who are facing difficulty due to their financial stability. Restored’s proceeds will go toward housing, transportation, and childcare scholarships, and jobs in the coffee shop and boutique will provide a springboard to mold work ethic while crafting each woman’s marketable skills.
Betts Farm—Proposed
A preliminary plan is under review for a 65-acre subdivision at 1200 Phelps West Road. If approved, Betts Farm will feature 95 lots for single-family homes, 10.28 acres of open space, and 2.06 acres of common area.
Buffaloe Run—Proposed
Early plans are being reviewed for a subdivision to be located on 45.5 acres at 7453 Kennebec Road near Willow Spring High School. Buffaloe Run would consist of 59 single-family home lots (averaging 9,235 square feet), 40 row home lots (averaging 4,793 square feet), and 20.45 acres of open space.
